About us
OUR MISSION
Through our lives and by our prayers we seek to develop Christ’s
Kingdom in the world. We seek to achieve our aim through the following:
| Worship | Increase awareness of God’s presence and celebrate God’s love |
| Learning and Caring | Help people to grow and learn as Christians |
| Service | Be a good neighbour to people in need and challenge injustice |
| Evangelism | Make more followers of Jesus Christ |
The way we currently fulfil the above is as follows
WORSHIP
Through our Sunday worship 10.30am and 6pm we seek to be an
all age fellowship using God’s gifts to celebrate God’s
love.
Monday to Friday morning prayers are said as part of our commitment both to worship and the sustaining of our work.
LEARNING AND CARING
Through our various meeting for fellowship, work with
children and young people we seek to care for one another in Christian
Love and deepen our knowledge of God
SERVICE
As individuals and as a faith community we use our time and premises
to be there for others, Parent and Toddlers groups, Carers group, pre
and post school club , uniform groups, luncheon club, and through our
support of Christian Aid and Traidcraft we play our part in bringing
about a just and fairer world.
EVANGELISUM
Through Schools work, special prayer and praise events, Alpha
Courses and special services we seek to offer the love of Christ in
a relevant and challenging way.
We serve the local community of Wolstanton and its surrounding area, and are part of the Wolstanton and Audley Circuit. Visitors are always very welcome. We are situated just off High Street, which is the main road through Wolstanton, in Grosvenor Place. We would probably be described as 'a typical Methodist Church', if such a thing is possible.
