Service times
On Sunday we offer:
Our main act of worship. This takes place at 10.30am when all ages gather
to celebrate our faith. The morning worship includes a Junior Church
and crèche (see the link to Junior Church)
On the first Sunday of each month we hold an all age act of worship. This often incorporates our uniform organisations and is of an informal nature. Some months we hold parallel worship which involves two services with a common theme but offering different styles of worship.
Usually, on the third Sunday of the month we hold a Communion service where we invite all to share in this important sacrament.
Our morning services involve our congregation through our music group and participation in leading worship.
The 6pm service provides us with the opportunity for a variety of style of worship. Our normal pattern being
First Sunday - a service of stillness and reflection. This is an opportunity to meditate upon our faith drawing upon the worship of the Taize and Iona Communities
Second Sunday – Celebrating Communion. An opportunity to experience different ways of experiencing Holy Communion.
Third Sunday – Story telling. Members of our congregation share their faith journey and reminding us of the place of personal testimony in the sharing of faith.
Fourth Sunday – Preaching service a more traditional act of worship.
